Project Description

Development Directive were appointed by Aveo Retirement Homes Ltd to assist in the redesign and masterplanning of its Retirement Community at Carindale.  

The Retirement Community had an underlying development approval, however required redesigning to respond to market conditions, and sell down of the Residential Aged Care Facility to a third party.  

Development Directive advised on town planning approvals process to deliver a new direction for the Retirement Village. Development Directive played an integral part in the redesign process to ensure the project could be advocated for strongl through the approval process.  

We provided technical advices regarding the sub-division of the Residential Care Facility from the primary lot to enable its sell off and construction, separate to the Retirement development.  

A key aspect of Development Directive’s engagement has been to work with the design team to make changes which do not compromise the deliverability of the project between stages, whilst amending approval timing and staging to increase flexibility.
