Project Description

Development of a new master planned community in Coopers Plains delivering 1200 residential dwellings.

Whilst working at Consolidated Properties Group (CPG), Development Directive Director, Scott Macgregor, was responsible for delivering the residential workbook, including Cornerstone Living, a residential urban renewal project in Coopers Plains. The project is set to deliver 1200 residential units and townhouses, a retail centre and community facilities over 10 years.

The project was/is being undertaken in partnership with the Department of Housing and Public Works (DHPW). The DHPW owned a large portion of land consisting of dilapidated social housing stock which was no longer fit for purpose. DPHW partnered with CPG to redevelop the land and deliver a new, revitalised residential community which incorporated affordable housing product and desirable community outcomes. Scott assisted in structuring the partnership with DPHW, managing the master planning process and approvals, and subsequent delivering of the first 9 stages of the project (over 300 units and townhouses).
