Project Description

Development Directive worked in conjunction with Better Cities Group in an advisory role for Gympie Regional Council as part of a preliminary planning review.

Development Directive were engaged by Gympie Regional Council to review and advise on industrial planning for the Gympie Region. The advisory role included economic analysis of land supply within the Gympie Regional Council local government area, in conjunction with a detailed planning scheme review.

The outcome of this review had led to detailed planning recommendations that will inform the drafting and development of the new Gympie Planning Scheme. The project offered a unique opportunity to assist Gympie Regional Council with the tailoring of their planning scheme and to capitalise on future industrial growth.
