Project Description

Jones Business Park is a significant redevelopment of 8,035m2 of existing industrial land at Geebung, for the establishment of low impact industry. The site is located within the Brisbane Northern Major Industrial Area.

Development Directive undertook thorough site investigations prior to lodgement of the development application, working alongside RMA Engineers to undertake flood modelling for the site.

The site was subject to a citywide waterway corridor which required significant rehabilitation works - this corridor was subsequently dedicated to Council. This represented a key benefit for the client given the undevelopable nature of this land

The code assessable development application was approved in less than 3 months of lodgement through strong working relationships with the client and assisting consultants. Development Directive were also able to negotiate changes to the approval relating to increased hours of operation and increased building height.
