Project Description
The Piggabeen sports complex is an established sports complex within Tweed Heads which is predominantly used as a rugby league ground and is the home ground of the Tweed Heads Seagulls.
Development Directive assisted Better Cities Group in the preparation of a ten-year masterplan for the Piggabeen Sports Complex. The masterplan provides a long-term vision for the sports Complex, identifying the key existing and future users of the facility, what the site should look like and how it should function in the future.
The master plan considers the next 10 year period from 2020 to 2030 and guide future sports infrastructure development and investment, both by Council and the club(s) through funding applications and/or club capital investments.
