Rockhampton Large Format Retail Centre

Project Description

The Development Directive were commissioned by SPG Developments to obtain a Development Approval for a large format retail centre in Rockhampton. The process required a staged approach, first requiring a Development Permit for Reconfiguring a Lot (One (1) into Two (2) Lots) to resolve previously required road upgrades conditioned by the State Government. The resolution of the road upgrades was such that the development could feasibly occur.

A subsequent Development Permit was obtained for the large format retail development, which initially included a Shop, Showroom and Service Station. Development Directive then assisted the client in obtaining an Other Change approval, converting the previously proposed Shop and Service Station into additional Showroom space. Development Directive also assisted the client by facilitating an Operational Works Approval for signage.
